Because I am inviting friends, colleagues, and family to follow this blog, some of whom are unfamiliar with many beliefs and practices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it seems only fair and fitting to give a brief introduction on the purpose of the blog. My wife Stephanie and I have been called to serve as missionaries for the Church in the Texas Houston Mission. We will be serving for eighteen months starting July 7, 2025 as Member and Leader Support (MLS) missionaries - meaning we will be serving in a local congregation striving to do what good we can among both members and friends of the Church and in the larger community. Obviously, this will include efforts to share and discuss the Gospel of Jesus Christ with its joyful message and blessings, its opportunities and power to improve the lives of people.
